Email

Email is the most built-out channel in Eko. You dictate the message, Eko writes it and names it, and your actual inbox lives one tap away.

The Eko email screen with a connected mailbox, Inbox and Sent tabs, and the hold-to-speak button.
Inbox. Connected account, newest mail first.
A message open in Eko showing sender, subject, timestamp and the full body text.
Reading. Full text, and marked read on the real mailbox.
The Confirm screen with a generated subject line and the Redraft button.
Confirm. Subject written for you, Redraft on hand.

How it goes

Speak the email, get a subject line

Hold the mic and say what you want to send. Open with "work email" or "personal email" to pin the tone. Eko writes the body and generates the subject — you never have to think of one.

Change it by talking, not typing

On the Confirm screen, tap Redraft, hold the mic, and say a follow-up instruction: "make this firmer", "shorten it", "add that I'll call tomorrow". The draft rewrites itself. Undo redraft steps back through the earlier versions if one of them was better.

Your inbox, inside Eko

Once an account is connected you get scrollable Inbox and Sent tabs, newest first, paginated with Load more. Tap any message to read it in full — sender, subject, timestamp and the complete body. HTML newsletters are parsed down to readable text instead of raw markup, and opening one marks it read on the real mailbox, not just in Eko.

Reply is coming. You'll see a Reply button on the message screen, currently greyed out. That's the next feature in the queue, not a fault.

Setting it up

  • Outlook (Microsoft 365 or outlook.com) — one-tap sign-in, opened in your laptop's browser.
  • GoDaddy / Titan Email — your mailbox address and password, entered once in a small web form Eko opens on your laptop. If the mailbox has two-factor authentication on, this must be an app-specific password.
  • Connect both and GoDaddy/Titan wins, because that's the account's real mail.

Trouble connecting?

The part that never changes

Whatever the channel, you hold the mic, Eko writes it down and tidies it, you read it on the Confirm screen, and only then does it go anywhere.
