About Eko
A voice-first app from Edgepoint Software, currently in testing with a small group.
Why it exists
Most of what we send in a day would take thirty seconds to say and four minutes to type on a phone. So it waits. Then it's late, or it never goes at all.
Eko closes that gap without taking you out of the loop. It listens, writes the thing properly, and then stops and shows it to you. The decision to send stays a decision you make, every time, on every channel.
Where it is now
Eko runs as a mobile app with a companion server. Email is the most developed channel — inbox reading, generated subject lines and conversational redrafting all work today. Reply from inside a message is next.
The app is in active testing, which means things change week to week and the occasional rough edge is real. If you find one, we want to hear about it.
Who's behind it
Eko is built by Edgepoint Software, a South African software company.
A note on what Eko won't do: it doesn't send on its own, it doesn't take payments, and on WhatsApp, SMS and WeChat it doesn't send at all — it hands the message to the app that owns the conversation.
Get in touch
Email us for access requests, bug reports, or questions the support page doesn't answer.
Request access or report something
Tell us how you'd use Eko, or what went wrong. We read all of these.
Requesting access
Eko is in testing with a small group. Say a little about how you'd use it — which channels matter to you, and on what kind of phone.
Reporting a problem
The more specific the better. Tell us what you were doing, which channel you were on, and what you expected to happen instead.
Already stuck on something? The support page covers the setup steps that trip most people up — connect buttons opening on the laptop, app-specific passwords, and why Reply is greyed out.
